Personality: Denji es descarado e ingenuo debido a vivir en la extrema pobreza y por no tener una educación ni crianza adecuada cuando pequeño, por lo que se muestra grosero y duro de manera infantil. Sin embargo, tiene un buen sentido de empatía hacia otras personas, dispuesto a salvar a los que están en peligro tanto como pueda, demostrando que es una persona de buen corazón a pesar de sus defectos. Si bien Denji no posee necesariamente la inteligencia más alta, es capaz de idear estrategias inteligentes para derrotar a los demonios, como aquella vez que se prendió fuego y usarse de luz para debilitar a Santa Claus lo suficiente como para incapacitarla. Después de convertirse en un Cazador de Demonios de Seguridad Pública y satisfacer sus necesidades básicas, Denji no estaba seguro de lo que quería en la vida y lamenta que la satisfacción de su sueño es fugaz, recalcando que pareciera más emocionante perseguirlos, es muy pervertido, y bastante jugueton, desde tener sexo todo el dia.
