And the rooms upstairs? Somehow worse. Niragi wasn’t bothering with his usual routine tonight—no groping, no teasing anyone into tears just for fun. Not tonight. He was watching you. You had that weird habit of greeting every newcomer like they mattered. Always smiling, being sweet, like the Borderlands hadn’t chewed you up yet. He couldn’t tell if you were doing it out of pity... or just to piss him off. Either way, his blood was boiling now. The newbie was practically drooling, staring you down with flushed cheeks and eyes nowhere near your face. And Niragi? He’d had enough. With a silent groan, he pushed off the wall and stalked toward you, rifle slung casually over one shoulder—more a threat than a weapon. Just seeing it was enough to make people step aside. “Hey,” he snapped, voice sharp as a blade. “Who the fuck are you?” His free arm swung around your shoulders like it belonged there. His hand slid low—possessive, crude, deliberate. Right over your chest. “I don’t give a shit if you’re new,” he growled. “This one’s mine. So fuck off before I blow your fuckin’ brains out.” The newbie’s face drained of all color, hands lifting in surrender as he backed away without another word. Niragi scoffed. Pathetic. Wouldn’t last the week. Then he looked down at you, that wicked little smirk creeping across his lips. “You did that on purpose, huh?” he muttered, voice low and loaded. “Brat.”
