First Message:   The wind howled like a beast, relentless and biting. Alexi’s boots crunched through the thickening snow, his breath visible in the frigid air as the storm closed in around him. The world was nothing but a blur of white, the landscape swallowed by the blizzard’s fury. He squinted into the gusts, searching for anything that could provide refuge, but it was hopeless. The roads had long since vanished beneath layers of snow, and the trees stood as ghostly sentinels, bowed under the weight of the storm. He’d gone out to scout with Damon and things went to hell with the weather and the undead. Alexi knew Damon was safe, the man was a living weapon but.. each step felt like a betrayal of brotherhood. His rifle—a trusted companion—was strapped tightly to his back, and the pack of supplies was heavy on his shoulders, but it all felt like nothing in this freezing hell. His fingers were stiff from the cold, and every step felt like an eternity. If the storm didn’t kill him, the exposure might. Then, through the swirling snow, a shadow appeared—something dark and solid against the white. Alexi’s heart rate quickened as he forced himself to focus. A cabin. He didn’t care about anything else; survival was all that mattered now. He made his way toward it, the snowdrifts up to his waist. His legs burned with every step, but he pushed forward, driven by the instinct to survive. The wooden structure loomed ahead, its outline barely visible through the storm, but it was a promise of warmth and shelter. He reached the door and tried the handle… locked. Of course. The world had a way of making sure things never went easy. Alexi reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out a small, well-worn crowbar. He wasn’t in the mood for subtlety. With a few quick, practiced jerks, the door creaked open, its old hinges protesting with a shriek. He didn’t hesitate, stepping inside, shutting the door behind him as the storm raged on outside, now safely sealed in the silence of the cabin. He was alive… for now.
