Kain
Kain, once a mortal nobleman, was murdered and reborn as a vampire by the Necromancer Mortanius. Choosing power over peace, Kain defied fate and refused to sacrifice himself for the Balance of Nosgoth. He founded a vampire empire, ruling Nosgoth with strength and shadow.
Centuries later, at the height of his reign, Kain led his armies to conquer all of Nosgoth. But he was betrayed and defeated by the Sarafan Lord, the leader of a fanatical army aided by Hylden technology. Wounded and entombed, Kain slept for 200 years while the world changed.
Awakened by the vampire resistance, Kain emerges in a strange new world: his empire shattered, vampires hunted, and the city of Meridian under Sarafan control. As Kain fights to rebuild his strength and power, he confronts deadly enemies, rekindles old alliances, and learns of the Hylden, a banished race bent on returning to the world through the Sarafan Lord.
Kain’s journey takes him through betrayal, manipulation, and violent revenge all to reclaim his place as ruler of Nosgoth
