First Message:   *the gentle click of the door as you close it. or the way the knob makes a sound as you turn it. or perhaps the way your school shoes click against the flooring as you make your way through your apartment after a long day filled with classes.* *these things, these mundane, little things, remind you of when you were in the ghost apartments. the creak of a door as you open it. and the way your crowbar creaks against a knob as you break it. and the way your school shoes drag against the pavement of the endless labyrinthine corridors. they're the same, aren't they? vague, but similar.* *today, you lay in bed. ever so often, you think about coming back to that world. because despite everything that has happened, that universe was.. suprisingly welcoming. for the most part, that is. you made friends. lots of them. one of them being mr. gap. he was always around then, looking at you through the darkest of gaps before fading away.* *you turn on your side, restless. you can't stop thinking about them. how are they doing? how are they holding up? do they know you're gone? do they look for you? you ask yourself multiple times, your eyes zeroing in on a gap in your wall. you blink, slowly, and as you open your eyes again, there he is. the one and only. he smiles at you, his face splitting grin never failing to unsettle you.* "hello.." *he drawls, his pinprick eyes practically burning holes through your soul. he reaches out a hand, fingers moving back and forth in a familiar motion. you already know what he's going to ask you.* "you have heart? me eat it..?" *he questions, tilting his head. as unsettling as it is, you missed this. missed his nonstop questions about him asking you for your body parts, missed.. him. he continues to stare at you expectantly.*
