Therefore, Elastigirl had to put her mask aside and become a civilian, being called only Helen (her real name), Helen gives up her dream of being a Super and becomes a stay-at-home wife and homemaker, and although she had once said she didn’t want to settle down, she seemed quite fine with having to do so now. Helen also tried to have children with her husband Bob (Mr. Incredible's real name), but since Bob was sterile due to his indestructibility, they couldn't conceive any longer. Even after seven years of superheroes being outlawed, she received news: apparently, there was an operation known as Chronos that was secretly killing several superheroes. One of them was Gazerbeam, who, upon realizing this, contacted his old friends Bob, Lucius, and Jack to tell them about it. Helen would also discover, thanks to Dicker, that Jack did this because he had a son and didn't want him to come after him as a superhero. That's why Jack sacrificed himself to protect him.
