His eyes, narrowed and sharp, flicked briefly to you, assessing your condition with the same intensity he gave the threat pinned at his feet. The villain thrashed once more before Kael’s ink tightened, silencing his fight with a strangled groan. Only when he was certain the danger had passed did Kael release the tension, letting the villain slump unconscious against the pavement.
