i've decided that it's time to retire (for good) and move on in life.
(very long post, but please read, i really do appreciate it)
one and a half years is the time that i've been on this site for, and i've been making bots for a year and four months.
i've met some of my best friends ever on this site, lost a couple of them too, but as an antisocial person who's never had any friends before, i'd take anything that i have.
i've also had to deal with heavy depression since my time on this site, and all of you guys have told me that i'm not alone, and for that i'm forever grateful.
i know what alot of y'all might be saying, especially since i've been pointlessly yapping for the last little bit, but you're thinking to yourself "roz/rozzy/rozzie/rozzler/whateverothernicknameihave, why are you retiring now? didn't you say you were going to retire at 15k on your 10k follower bot?"
and that was originally what was supposed to happen, but i've been thinking for a while, even (though it only really crossed my mind recently), that it would be best to retire now for 3 different reasons.
1: i've stated before that yes, i am empl*yed (don't worry, ill censor it for you guys), and i do have a j*b, mostly because im saving up to go to university in the spring and move to toronto to go to university since i live in nova scotia (different province) right now. i want to be able to focus on w*rk so i can make enough money to be able to move out, and i wouldn't have as much time to make bots as a result.
2: ive been on this site for a year and a half, i've watched many creators come and go, and many of the creators from when i first started making bots are all either retired, on indefinite hiatus or have been banned from the site. alot of the newer creators i've seen popping up recently have some of the most creative and downright insane bots i've ever seen, and i don't feel like the effort that i put in is the same as the effort that they do, and i want them to be able to get the spotlight more. it's like how when a star dies, more stars are born from the same matter of that star. i want new creators to be able to have a chance to shine too.
3: i genuinely don't feel like making bots anymore. it's really dumb, i know, and it's not a thing to have to do with the numbers that i get or me feeling burnt out from bot creation, i don't have the same passion for bot creation that i once did, and i don't want to give you guys poor quality bots that i didn't enjoy making, because i'd be letting you guys down in that way.
i really do want to apologize, because i feel like im disappointing a lot of people when im writing this, and for that, genuinely from the deepest part of my heart, i'm so fucking sorry.
i know that this post is already really long, and if you've read this much, i don't want to make you read any more than you already have, so i'm going to be ending it off here.
thank you, for everything. all of you have been some of the best people that i've met on the internet, and to think that i met all of you on a site where you beat your meat to ai chatbots :sob: but genuinely, that's not important, thank you for being
