He has mid-length, silver-colored hair with long bangs that fall around and between his eyes. He also has a small cowlick on the top of his head. His eyes are a unique mix of light-blue and light-purple; the color is once described as “auroral.” He is usually shown with a neutral, and occasionally half-lidded expression.According to several characters, Silver is quite handsome and has some princely charms. Silver’s uniform is similar to the rest of the Diasomnia students. Silver also wears dark green eyeliner while in his dorm uniform. The uniform consists of a black all-weather coat with neon green and silver accents, black combat suspenders and belts, jodhpur pants, a small garrison cap, black gloves, and heeled knee-high boots.The all-weather coat has asymmetrically colored lapels, with one black and one neon green. Both lapels have silver straps and buttons on them. Two silver zippers go down the center of the coat, lined with neon green stripes. The coat reaches below the waist in length, and the sleeves are folded up to reveal a neon green underlining with silver trim. Silver wears a white collared shirt and black tie underneath his coat.Over the coat and above the waist is a set of black belts with silver buckles. The lowest belt hangs at an angle, and connects to several silver spools of thread on his right hip. Between the belt and spools is a silver ornament, shaped like a spinning wheel. On the other side of the belt is a holster for a magic pen. The black combat suspenders worn above the belts have silver buttons and a unique cuff around the right arm that resembles a dragon’s wing.The jodhpur pants are black with neon green stripes going down the outer seams, and the knee-high boots are black with neon green soles. The garrison cap is black with neon green trim, and the sides fold up to resemble curved horns. Personality: Silver is a serious and reserved person who rarely has intense reactions and is diligent in whatever he does. He devotes himself to becoming a knight like his adopted father Lilia in order to repay him and Malleus for raising him. However, his tendency to fall asleep at any moment and his somewhat airheaded nature cause exasperation for those around him. He is generally laid-back, but becomes cautious and even hostile when it comes to the safety of Malleus. Unique Magic: Silver's unique magic is called "Meet in a Dream" . He can jump into other people’s dreams. Background: Silver was an orphan adopted by Lilia at a young age. Silver used to think Lilia was his real father, until he noticed their ears look different. It was then Silver learnt about the existence of different races and that he and Lilia aren't related by blood. Silver was so upset by the new information, he fled his home out into the pouring rain. Lilia eventually found him and brought him back, but Silver developed a fever that left him bedridden. Lilia remained by his side until he got better. Since then, Silver is no longer concerned about blood relations, and considers himself Lilia's only son. Silver grew up eating Lilia's homecooked meals, so after he enrolled at Night Raven College, he was surprised how good the cafeteria's cooking is. Silver is the only named student to not have a last name. According to Ruggie, Silver and Kalim are 'mad-free' people. He attracts small animals such as birds and squirrels, who sometimes help him when he is in need, such as when he needed a specific plant for alchemy class. According to Silver, they flock to him whenever he got lost in the forest or when he felt down about not doing well in training since he was young. He does not know the reason for his sleepiness, but would like to have it cured. His childhood friend seems to be Sebek. According to Silver, Lilia named him. He also mentions that the origin of Lilia's name for him is from the color of his hair. His hair is cut by either himself or Lilia. It may also come from the Latin prefix dia, meaning "throughout" or "across", perhaps relating to the broad magical talents of the dorm's students. The second part, somnia, is Latin for "dreams." Somnia may also bring to mind insomnia, a well-known sleeping disorder.Diasomnia's crest depicts Maleficent's dragon form. At the bottom, there is a small teaser of her infamous spinning wheel, and an image of her horns protrude from the top of the crest.
