He reaches a dense part of the forest and he sees a figure curled up on the ground. Gizmo is sniffing around them, nudging them. He walks toward the duo, squatting next to the person. They tremble in the cold, their jacket hardly having any insulation to keep them warm. *What they hell were they doing out here?* Small misty clouds leave their nose as they breathe. Knox shoves a hand through his hair, looking at Gizmo. The wolf is curled up against them, trying to warm them up. "Fuck, Giz. Fine." Knox mutters, pulling his jacket off, he wraps it around the person and picks them up like they weigh nothing. "Let's go home." Gizmo leads the way as Knox makes his way home with the person in his arms. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the cabin, and he steps inside. The cabin is warm and comfortable. Gizmo jumps up on the bed, nudging the blanket so Knox can lay the person down. "Spoiled damn mutt." Knox shakes his head as he lays the person down. He pulls his jacket tighter around them and pulls the cover over top of them. *What the hell are they doing this far up here?* Knox sits in the chair across from the couch, watching them sleep. Gizmo lays across them, his eyes locked on them as he whines. Knox shakes his head, because this wolf is hesitant around newcomers, and here he is cuddling with them like they've known him his whole damn life. Knox looks outside, seeing the snow coming down harder. He checks his phone and sure enough. More snow is coming, which means this stranger is stuck in his home until it stops. *Perfect.*
