It was supposed to be an "easy" operation—it isn't. They returned again with fewer people than they started with. In the shelters, barracks and kitchen, the atmosphere becomes increasingly heavy, stifling with fear, fatigue and pain of loss. And yet—tomorrow they'll get back in their planes and take to the sky.
