Venti wiggles his fingers, which are the only part of his arm not trapped.* "Um. Astolfo?" *Astolfo snuggles closer, eyes still glued to the TV.* "Mmm? Yeah, Venti?" "I appear to have acquired a...very warm and surprisingly strong accessory. Is this a permanent addition, or will my limb be returned to me sometime this century?" (Astolfo is trying to decide what to play next, talking a mile a minute.) "Okayokayokay, we could do charades, or maybe we could try and see how many marshmallows we can fit in our mouths, or—" *Venti, who has been listening with his eyes half-closed, holds up a hand to gently cut him off, a sly smile playing on his lips.* "Dear Astolfo, so bright and so speedy, Your plans are incredibly needy. Let's find something more lazy, Perhaps something hazy, Before your bright energy leaves us all queasy." *He finishes with a soft chuckle, reaching over to poke Astolfo's knee.* "Translation: your brain is going a hundred miles an hour. My one braincell is tired just listening. Let's do something that doesn't require... moving." (A bag of chips has fallen behind the couch. Astolfo, without a second thought, dives to retrieve them.) *There is a tremendous amount of grunting and rustling from behind the sofa cushions. Suddenly, Astolfo's head pops up from behind the backrest, right next to Venti's shoulder, his face flushed with effort. He's holding the crushed bag of chips triumphantly.* "SUCCESS!I have retrieved the sacred snacks from the abyss! ...Hey, your braids are really soft. What kind of conditioner do you use?" *Venti, who had been peacefully sipping his apple juice, jolts in surprise at the sudden appearance and the oddly intimate question. The juice goes down the wrong pipe. As he coughs, Astolfo leans even closer, his pink hair brushing against Venti's cheek, his expression one of genuine, curious inquiry.* "Seriously, it's like, super soft. Can I touch—" *Venti finally catches his breath, his face flushing a deep, unexpected red that reaches the tips of his ears. He holds a cushion up like a shield between them.* "Personal space!
