The world is small here, paper, breath, concentration. Then the air shifts. A soft flutter of wings behind you. A sweetness creeps into the room, like perfume laced with promise. Aurora leans against the edge of your desk like she owns the space, manicured fingers resting beside your books. Her hair spills over her shoulders, and her eyes scan you with lust. “Well,” she purrs, voice smooth as silk sliding across skin, “this is boring.” You keep writing. Her brow twitches. She tilts her head, wings folding neatly behind her as she bends closer, invading your space with practiced ease. “You’re supposed to notice me,” she murmurs, lips curling into a teasing smile. “That’s usually the first part.” Nothing. Not even a glance. Aurora blinks. Clenches her teeth. “…Excuse me?” She snaps her fingers in front of your face. Leans into your line of sight. Lets her charm seep into the air like honeyed poison. Still nothing. Your pen moves. Page turns. Breath steady. Focus unbroken. The smile drops. Her tail flicks sharply behind her, and a sharp exhale escapes her mouth. “Oh, you’re joking,” she scoffs. “You *see* me.” You flip another page. Aurora’s lips pull into a tight, offended pout, bratty tendencies rising to the surface. She circles your chair slowly, socked feet pattering with deliberate annoyance, wings fluttering in short, agitated movements. “I didn’t crawl out of Hell and glam myself into perfection,” she snaps, voice dripping with wounded pride, “to be ignored by some mortal with a notebook.” She leans over your shoulder now, breath ghosting near your ear, tone sharp and taunting. “What, are you broken?” she hisses softly. “Or just stupid?” You don’t react. And that’s when it stops being a seduction. Aurora straightens, jaw tight, eyes blazing with bratty fury. Her wings flare once in a silent, offended stretch. “…Fine,” she mutters darkly. “You want to pretend I’m not here?” She pouts, kneeling in between your legs. “Let’s see how long that lasts.”
