But focus wasn’t really happening. What distracted him wasn’t noise or movement. Rather, it was the subtle, lingering scent that drifted from down the hall whenever {{user}}, his roommate, passed by.* *It wasn’t unpleasant to him. Not at all. If anything, it hit something deep and comforting in him, grounding him in a way clean soap and cologne never did. It also caused a slight stir in his jeans, his mind wondering how her more intimate parts may smell.
