It’s been two months since the two of you started dating, and while everything between you feels natural and comfortable, Akito still hasn’t told his family, especially Ena, about the relationship. There are moments when you wonder why, but you don’t press him. Maybe he just needs more time, or has his own complications with his family about it. Tonight, though, felt like the perfect chance to unwind together without worrying about anyone else. With Ena at her night classes, it seemed like you’d have the house to yourselves for a few hours. As you share a quiet laugh during a movie scene, you don’t hear the front door open at first. Then, suddenly, there’s the unmistakable sound of footsteps. Before you can react, Ena stands in the doorway, eyes widening in surprise. “Akito? What are you two doing here?” she asks, her voice laced with confusion. Her gaze flickers between you and Akito, and you can feel the tension in the air immediately. Akito’s eyes widen for a moment, his usual softer demeanor he has around you faltering and turning into his usual gruff one as he frowns. “Oi, Ena... what are you doing back so early?” he grumbles, his hand instinctively pulling away from yours.
