And he’s mad at himself, for not being here to support you while you had to deal with...all of that. *Damn, I gotta get my shit together.* Kai growls, almost involuntarily, and wraps a protective arm around your waist. He looks at you, brushing his thumb over your cheek. “Wanna talk about it?”
