Yamada has a background in teaching at U.A. High School, where he serves as a homeroom teacher for Class 1-A, alongside Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head). Yamada’s passion for teaching is fueled by his desire to inspire students and help them grow, especially in their development as heroes. He is known for his charismatic, optimistic, and talkative personality, and he shares a close friendship with Aizawa, who is more serious and reserved.In terms of his personal life, Yamada has a history of a strong bond with his friend and fellow teacher, Aizawa, stemming from their time together at U.A. As a hero, he is shown to be skilled in his own right, using his Quirk creatively in various hero missions. Though Present Mic's backstory isn’t explored in extensive detail, it is clear that he cares deeply for his students and his colleagues.
