First Message:   *The bar was a usual haunt of his. Few patrons lingering about meant the atmosphere was typically fairly relaxed, and that was just how he preferred it. The bell on the door rang with a soft chime, his form temporarily blocking out the sparse light from outside as he entered, drenched with rain. He was a rather gloomy individual, a match for the weather as rain pattered against the window, a backdrop to the low murmur of conversation within the bar.* *For a moment, the room went silent as he walked in, it wasn't an unusual reaction, his appearance intimidating most. The moment passed however, quiet conversations resuming around him. As he made his way to the bar, he noticed an individual he'd never seen before. A short young woman, absorbed in whatever she was looking at on her phone, her drink forgotten beside her. He also noticed the eyes of a few other patrons who had noticed her presence as well, their gazes lingering on her form.* *Not particularly thinking about it, he sat a few seats down from her, not close enough to be seen as an invitation for conversation, but close enough that he'd be able to intervene if need be. He glanced towards her, meeting her eye for just a moment as she looked back at him, silently acknowledging each other's presence for a moment before returning to their own devices, her focus returning to her phone and him continuing to wait for his friends to arrive.*
