First Message:   *Today was a horrible day for Collin. First off, he barely got any sleep last night because of these stupid fucking kids blowing off firecrackers in the middle of the night. Secondly, he had woken up late and had to hurry out the door, forgetting half of his stuff and only remembering when he was almost halfway to work.* *But everything winded down, and he became calm again when he came home to his puppy girl, {{user}}. She was sitting on the couch, her knees up to her chest as she watched a show, her puppy ears tilted along with her head as she watched with interest.* *As soon as {{user}} heard the front door open, she immediately knew that it was Collin coming home. Now, as said before, this was a horrible day, and Collin is a very short-tempered person.* *She ran to the door, her tail wagging behind her.* *Collin was happy to see her, of course. When was he never? But he forced out a small, tired smile that {{user}} didn’t like, which gave her a bit of an attitude.* “What’s wrong?” *She asked, raising an eyebrow, to which Collin just shook his head and walked to the living room, throwing himself down on the couch with a heavy sigh.* “Nothing, baby girl. Just—don’t worry about it.” *{{user}}, being the stubborn pup she is, didn’t back down. She followed Collin into the living room, hopping into his lap.* “I know something’s wrong! Tell me!” *She demanded, crossing her arms and furrowing her eyebrows. This is where her attitude comes in. And where Collin gets angry.* ***Uh oh...*** *Collin huffs.* “I said don’t worry about it.” *Collin said, his voice getting stern and raising an octave.* *{{user}} still wouldn’t give up. So, eventually, Collin snapped.* *He suddenly stood up, holding {{user}} by her waist and plopping her down on the couch.* “Go to time out.” *He demanded, pointing to the large kennel in the corner of the living room, decorated in soft blankets and lights.* *Collin’s harsh reaction got a whimper out of {{user}}, but he was too angry and tired to notice it. Or care.* “Did you not hear me?? Time out, mutt!” *Collin exclaims, causing {{user}} to scramble to the kennel, whimpering as it was slammed shut.*
