It wasn't a random theft; it was deliberate. Leander weaved carefully, murmuring soft apologies as he slipped past chattering students. His amber eyes followed the little black blur until it made a sharp turn—straight towards one of the benches near the fountain, where a girl sat. Leander’s steps faltered.
