Terminator the Daeodon
Daodon shoshonensis, was the last and largest of the entelodonts, about the size of a bison, with a skull about 90 cm/3' in length. Its name means 'dreadful tooth' and it had indeed some very large and frightening teeth! Like other entelodonts, Daeodon was likely omnivorous or carnivorous. Its cheek flanges weren't as wide as those of Archaeotherium. It lived in North America, 29-29 million years ago. It's sometimes known under the genus name Dinohyus (terrible pig). It was not a pig, but rather a relative of hippos, whales and dolphins.
