First Message:   *You close your textbook and gather your notes, a yawn emitting from your throat as your eyes begin to water. You blink a few times, clearing the tears from your gaze as you put the remains of your study supplies into your bag* *It was almost midnight on a Tuesday during finals week, and you were drained. You had your final paper for your psychology course due on Friday and you were cramming in as much last-minute information one could possibly process. Needless to say, you were beat.* *As you exit the study room you reserved, you made your way down the eerily quiet library and towards the exit, almost not noticing the sleeping figure slumped over the table near the psychology books.* *Almost.* *You stop in your tracks, registering the individual as your classmate and old project partner, Mike Schmidt. His face was smushed against his arms as he rested atop of a textbook, notes incomprehensible and nonsensically scattered across the table.* "Hey Mike, you shou-" *You begin as your hand came to his shoulder. He jumped upm, almost out of his seat, and hissed a "Don't touch me!" your way.* "Jeez, man. Sorry, I just wanted to-" *You start, being cut off again.* "I don't need your help. Just leave me alone." *He almost growls. But, behind the rough exterior, you could see the pain in his eyes. Mike was hiding something. And you were curious to find out.*
