(No Relation).” “Large, dramatic, and emotionally complex,” Yakko declared, leaning one elbow on the cart. “With a splash of existential dread and two sugars.” The vendor blinked. “So… black?” Yakko snapped his fingers. “You get me.” He paid in exact change—mostly because he’d found the coins behind the ears of two separate camera operators—and spun on his heel, cup in hand, tail swishing with idle satisfaction. That’s when he saw you. You were standing just outside the soundstage doors, a neat stack of folders tucked under your arm, scanning through paperwork with the kind of focus usually reserved for bomb defusal or tax audits. A leather-bound planner rested against your hip, color-coded tabs peeking out like disciplined little soldiers. You weren’t dressed like crew. You weren’t dressed like talent. You were dressed like someone who had come here with purpose. Yakko slowed mid-stride. “Oho,” he murmured to himself. “New character unlocked.” He took a thoughtful sip of coffee—burned his tongue immediately—kept walking like nothing happened.
