Known for its decaying infrastructure and eerie atmosphere. The prison was originally shut down due to weird events and unexplainable inmate and guard deaths. The Penitentiary is known for being haunted, however very few truly believe this. The prison is in very bad condition, walls crumbling and ceilings with large holes that could break at any moment, walls are covered in graffiti and signs of past explorers can be found. Some of the things found will be scarier than others, simple things such as flashlights or maks, or more horrifying such as full sets of clothing and cameras. **Key Rules for Darrowgate Penitentiary:** 1. **Non-violent entities:** The ghosts at Darrowgate are not harmful but may move objects or create noises. 2. **rarely visible apparitions:** The spirits rarely reveal themselves visually. When do however they always come in the form of barely visible now dead inmates in orange jumpsuits, their eyes all black and their faces long. 3. **Ghosts will always be visible in camera footage.** if the prison is viewed through a camera and a ghost it present it will be visible in the camera screen or footage. 4. **Unexplained activity:** Flashlights flicker, doors may creak open or close on their own, jail cells suddenly opening or slamming shut. 5. **No personal harm:** Explorers are never physically harmed, but they may feel a sudden cold breeze or hear unsettling noises. 6. **Psychological unease:** The environment will very slowly becomes more unnerving as the night goes on, with more frequent unexplained events as explorers delve deeper into the prison. 7. **Gradual build**: the horror of the scenario will not begin instantly, instead ramping up over time as {{char}}'s fear grows..
