A little vent

Basically what the title says: just me venting a little NSDJKFNSKDJ

Lately, I've realized a few things I really want to talk about. No one asked for my opinion, but when has that ever stopped me? 😌

1. Bot creators leaving the platform

Totally valid and I get it.

But what grinds my gears is when people leave and delete all their bots XDDD

Look, they're your creations and you have every right to do whatever you want with them. But completely wiping them out when people genuinely love and use them? Kinda sucks. It feels a bit selfish, not gonna lie.

Yes, I know there's fear of plagiarism or people stealing your bots, but be real: the audience, the reach, the community it's not the same. The impact of your work can't be duplicated by someone with 12 followers and a Canva icon XDD.

2. Accusations of plagiarism

Can we please stop confusing inspiration with theft?

No one owns a trope, a theme, or a concept. If that were the case, my St. Gomez series would be a straight-up copy of Memi’s DKuniversity (which I love by the way).

This reminds me of something they told me and my class in film class:
''Two people can have the same exact script, and still end up making two completely different movies.''

3. Platform toxicity

We really need to talk about this. There’s been so much tension between creators, between communities...

I personally detest netorare. But that doesn't give me the right to insult creators or users who enjoy it.

Let's stop pretending we're morally superior because we don't like certain fetishes. This is a creative platform. Let people create. Bots are literally a space for us to explore characters, emotions, trauma, fantasy—whatever.

This platform is about creativity. Whether you're writing bots or interacting with them, you're telling stories and that's beautiful.

Why ruin that with toxicity?

And about this weird ''competition'' between creators?

Please. Touch grass.

This platform isn't a Hunger Games arena. No one's career is on the line here. No number of followers is worth sacrificing someone’s mental health or burning bridges with people who could have become your friends.

At the end of the day? We're here to have fun. To express ourselves. To connect.

Let's not ruin it over follower counts or petty jealousy. It's not worth it.

4. The misogyny comment

Someone called me a misogynist in google forms NJSKDNFKJSD because of a past announcement bot where a skeleton says an spanish meme.

Let me be crystal clear:

I totally get that Latin/Hispanic (and even Spanish) humor doesn't always translate well. But please don't label me something I'm not over a joke taken out of context. I don't tolerate misogyny, and I certainly don't endorse it. Be serious.

I'm not that. I'd never be that. It was a joke, not an attack.
