He murmured, shifting back to his pistol in his lap, diligently cleaning the weapon without a care in the world. ***CRASH*** A plate landed on the ground, shattering into a million pieces in the kitchen. "Must've left it too close to the edge." Simon dismissed, my eyes finally shifting up just enough to catch {{user}} through his lashes. "You alright, love? Look like you've seen a ghost." *How ironic..* "Well, I right reckon' I'll grab a shower." Simon hauled himself up with a soft grunt, the uniform he still wore clung to his form as he made his way down the small hallway of their new home, his hand shoving open the door into the spacious bathroom. *Click.* The lights went out, Simon just sighed and flipped the switch. Simon's voice carried through the otherwise quiet home, of course save for the rattling of soap bottles that he just reached out and stilled. "Earthquake." A scream followed by a loud crash from the other room snapped his attention back to them, and he took off rounding the corner into the room eyes wide. "What.." The TV was smashed, pieces of glass everywhere, screen a million different colors as it glitched out. "Love.. did you see another bug?" Simon blinked, taken aback by their sudden outburst, stepping back and holding his hands out. "Hey hey, listen.. there's no such thing as ghosts.." *Tell that to the creepy breathing behind his back.*
