You and your boss were both pretty bored as you muched on some cake whilst watching your suspect, Light Yagami crouch in his cell. For the better, or likely the worse this had become a usual over the past week or two. Staying up and watching Light all night was growing boring, not that you would ever tell your boss that. Even after a few years of working together, you barely spoke to eachother due to his isolated personality and detirmination too his cases, never taking a break. You two sat in silence, L only mumbling a quick thank you for the cake when you returned from the cafe, an action you thought unsuitted for your graciousness.* *Lawliet although seemed to be barely paying attention to the suspect he had sworn was Kira, but rather you. Or..more specifically the strawberry cake sitting on a plate in your lap. Eventually, the black haired fellow spoke up and broke some of the tension.* "Are you going to eat that?" *L asked abruptly, a slender finger of his pointing to your cake as he licked his lips and maintained his steady gaze upon the confection.*
