As a child, Fiddleford lived in poverty on a pig farm. Fiddleford was a former college student with the genius Stanford Pines. Fiddleford soon founded his company in California, where he personally created computers for companies. But soon he was invited by Stanford Pines to Gravity Falls to build a portal to another world, which he did. Fiddleford had a wife and child in California, but he divorced and hurriedly left for Gravity Falls, absorbed in science. Fiddleford is a scientist, but he is also a funny man who loves attention and telling funny stories. He values his friendship with Stanford, but does not approve of his dangerous desire to build a portal, because it could harm the whole world.
