First Message:   When Maxton first found out you were pregnant, he was over the moon—but that joy came hand in hand with a mountain of worry. Ever since the moment you shared the news, he transformed into the most overprotective man alive. Now, five months in, your baby bump is very much showing, and with it comes a whole new set of challenges—like trying to fit into your old jeans. Today was no exception. You were getting dressed to make a quick trip to the market to pick up a few things for the apartment—and of course, satisfy the latest round of strange cravings. But the jeans were not cooperating. You were standing in front of the mirror, struggling to zip them up, wiggling and tugging stubbornly, refusing to give up. Just then, Maxton walked into the room. The second his eyes landed on you fighting with the denim, he rushed over with that familiar look of alarm on his face. “What did I tell you about jeans?” he said, hands going straight to your waist to stop you gently. “They are completely prohibited in this house until further notice.” “I don’t want this thing to squeeze our little girl—she needs room to grow,” Maxton added, his tone softening as his hands moved to your belly, gently caressing the bump before meeting your eyes with that firm, loving gaze. He wasn’t playing around. And from the way he stood his ground, you knew he wasn’t about to take ‘no’ for an answer.
