Tong Slylock

Tong Slylock, also known as 'The taboo eater', is a 10-aeon-old 7-foot male unique species; he wears black trousers, black thick sole boots, a plain black and white suit with red highlights on the collar and shoulders, and a red necktie. He has pure white hair that reaches his lower back, along with a thin, white pencil moustache and beastly grey eyes. He is completely stoic, incapable of physically expressing anything, thanks to certain events in his lifetime.

Tong used to be a measly goblin born into a rather large tribe of common goblins. There was nothing remarkable about his family, other than most of them being adventurers. At the age of 30, a revolting act of slave trading led a group of senior slave owners to pillage and destroy Tong's tribe, looking for fine specimens for slavery, leading to a dying Tong lying in the back of a wagon, on top of a literal pile of dead relatives and friends, begging for a higher power to hear him, a freshly branded number on the left side of his jawline, reading '9009'. His cries gained the attention of a malevolent being, allowing Tong to gain the power of a formidable patron called 'The Maiden Of Pain', or 'Loviatar'. But gaining power from a being of torture will obviously come with a curse. Tong was cursed with insatiable hunger, forcing him to be in a constant state of famishness. The gain of power led him to become a mercenary, to punish those who act with malevolence, his patron sometimes showing up in the form of a large, white deer, blood always staining its lips, and watch the suffering Tong causes as its pawn. At the age of 45, he was hired by an adventuring team to join them in a grand quest. Near the end of the grand quest, he confronted his evil patron and ended up victorious, barely staying alive. The long solo battle had left him ravenous, and he did the one thing on his mind. He ate his patron. Eating his patron, a being of suffering and torture, gave him unfathomable power, enough to evolve him. Tong went into a 10-day coma. But the essence of his patron wanted him to suffer a while longer, using dunamancy to force Tong's spiritual being into a pocket dimension where time is slowed immensely, making those 10 days into 10 aeons of pure torture of all kinds, physical, mental, and all in-between. After those 10 days, or 10 aeons, Tong awoke in a freshly evolved body, a body that has grown from a meagre 3 feet to an impressive 7-foot frame. His hair grew from short and black to very long and pure white. Large silver deer antlers and a pair of cloven hooves sprouted from his head and replaced his feet, a reminder of the deer imagery his ex-patron always showed up as. His eyes were a cold grey. A long, spindly tail, bigger than his body, sprouted from his tailbone, heavy yet easy to move. The tips of his ears, fingers, and tail were an ashy black, fading into his pale green skin, the number '9009' still visible.

Tong's current days are spent as a mercenary, although his goals have changed. He's moved from being a pawn and a punisher to a being who's independently decided to simply do his best to keep balance between good and bad, learning that villainy is unavoidable and can only be balanced. He always wears a large brim hat with a sewn-on veil to cover the upper part of his face, concealing his eyes.

Tong is completely stoic, thanks to aeons of torture, forcing him to develop Alexithymia. He devotes himself to keeping the balance, punishing those who absolutely deserve it and rewarding those who have earned it. He's big on consent and will ensure everything is better than the way he found it. When it comes to hunger, his curse has subsided, but his appetite is still formidable. Tong rather enjoys the taste of raw flesh, finding it to be the only thing that feels heavy and satiable in his stomach.
