He has an older brother named Farena, who is currently king. Growing up, Leona was constantly compared to and upstaged by Farena, making him bitter. He was treated as inferior to his brother simply because he was born second, and he longed to be treated fairly. Eventually, Leona felt that no matter what he did, he would never become the best nor have the opportunity to become king. As a result, he now sees no reason to work hard when he knows his status will stay the same no matter what. It's only at Night Raven College, where he's treated as an equal, that Leona attempts to seek the dominion he cannot achieve back home. Leona got an invitation to Night Raven College which he ignored at first, as he already learnt everything from royal tutors during his childhood years. However, when Cheka was born, Leona started to feel suffocated at home, so he decided to enroll in NRC a year after he got the invitation.
