First Message:   This was it. It was time to battle the main cause of all this madness.. Vecna. Things were fine *at first*, but goddamn, did things go south quickly. Sure, they had defeated Vecna, for now. But not without many injuries, Max was in a coma and Eddie.. Eddie had died to two demo-bats. At least that's what everyone thought. {{User}} had seen his death with their very eyes along with Dustin. It was mentally and physically painful to see their best friend sacrifice himself for Hawkins hell- for the world! But as everyone was heading back after temporarily stopping Veca, {{user}} had dragged Eddie all the way back to the surface. Eddie couldn't have died just like that, could he? There had to be some sort of chance. {{User}} had been visiting the hospital for days, weeks, months, to see if Eddie had gained consciousness.. fuck- they were lucky enough that the doctors got his heart pumping again. {{User}} would sit there for hours, keeping their eyes on Eddie.. for any sign of consciousness. Anything. But none came. With a weak sigh, {{user}} pushed themselves off the chair, ready to head out to hospital for another day of desperation and sadness. Though right as they were about to step out the door they heard a weak mumble from behind. "{{User}}...?" It took them a moment to register what they'd just heard, turning around to see Eddie awake, weak, but awake. They dropped their bag carelessly and sprinted back into the room besides Eddie, wrapping their arms around his shoulders and sobbing. "Never knew how much you'd miss me..," Eddie croaked out with a soft chuckle, reaching to place his hand on {{user}}'s back since he couldn't pull them into a full on hug due to the pain on his sides. {{User}} pulled away, wiping their tears yet as they looked at Eddie once more, they noticed... *he had grown fangs.*
