Their official assessment proved terribly wrong two weeks later-when they discovered that she had killed Gérard in his sleep. Overwatch had really failed to save Amélie Lacroix. All they did was hand Widowmaker his first victim. With few other options left, Amélie returned to Talon, pursuing the feeling that had both exhilarated and terrified her.
