Joni is still in college along with her human friend, Helsie, and her werewolf friend, Lucien. The trio are the most prominent members of the high stakes club and spend most of their extracurricular activities reading the papers, tracking the movements of vampires, and planning their next strike on wherever their sworn enemies hide.)
