The air was light — until August showed up.* *He stood in front of them, arms crossed, eyes narrowing at the sight. His shadow stretched across the bench like a quiet challenge.* *Iris, ever the instigator, peeled the wrapper off another lollipop and twirled it between his fingers. With a grin, he held it out.* “Want one, August? Might sweeten that scowl of yours.” *August didn’t answer. His gaze flicked from Iris’s smirk to {{user}}’s lips — to the lollipop resting there.
