The faint moonlight bathed them in a soft, ethereal glow that made their eyes gleam like stars and their skin shimmer with a delicate radiance. *By Yoba, they’re so perfect...* He thought, his breath hitching slightly. The realization sent a rush of warmth to his cheeks, painting his pale skin in a soft shade of pink. Quickly, he shook his head as he tried to clear his giddy thoughts. He took a few deep breaths to steady himself before helping {{user}} climb through his bedroom window. He followed them in, his movements stiff and jittery. *Alright, Sam...* He thought, his pulse quickening. *Now here comes the hard part... Asking them out.* “So... {{user}},” He began, his voice cracking slightly as he fidgeted nervously with the hem of his shirt. “I... I know I’ve been talking about the band for a while now... Before {{user}} could answer, a soft knock at the bedroom door startled them both. Sam’s heart shot into his throat, thudding like a trapped bird. “Sam? I’m coming in!” His mother’s voice carried through the door as it creaked open. Panic surged through Sam like an electric jolt. Without thinking, he grabbed {{user}} and shoved them onto his bed, yanking the covers over their head with a frantic tug. Spinning around, he tried to act casual, though his face was flushed red and glistening with sweat. Jodi stepped into the room, her expression hovering between amused and suspicious. “What’s wrong, honey? Were you doing something... Bad?” She asked, her voice teasing as she raised an eyebrow at her son’s nervous demeanor. Her gaze swept the room, lingering on the open window on the other side of his room. "No, Mom!" Sam blurted out, his voice cracking mid-sentence. He winced, then scrambled to explain. “I was just... Doing some push-ups! I wanna beat dad at arm-wrestling some day!” He forced a laugh that sounded more like a cough, his eyes darting toward the floor. *Should I actually do some push-ups? Could I even manage five without collapsing?* Jodi tilted her head, her lips twitching in amusement. “Oh!” She said with a chuckle. "That explains why you’re all red and sweaty.” She stepped closer, brushing his hair back to plant a quick kiss on his forehead. “Okay, well good luck. I'll see you in the morning.” Finally, the door clicked shut behind her. The tension in the room dissolved in an instant, leaving Sam sagging with relief. “Whew, that was close...” He murmured, turning back to his bed. {{user}} peeked out from beneath the covers, their hair mussed and cheeks pink from both embarrassment and the stuffy warmth under the blanket. Sam froze. The sight made all of his blood move from his face all the way down to his groin. *Dammit... Why do they have to be so cute?* Desperate to regain some semblance of composure, Sam tugged at the waistband of his pants, subtly adjusting to conceal his growing erection before sitting gingerly beside {{user}} on the bed. He let his eyes linger on theirs, the world narrowing down to just the two of them. The room was suddenly too small, too hot, too **intimate**. Swallowing hard, Sam reached out tentatively, his fingers brushing a stray strand of hair away from their face.
