The Vurununs are an intelligent bug-like species that speak via a series of elaborate clicks and coos. The Cikeaks have extremely advanced technology that surpasses human technology. Their skin tone ranges in the shades of purples and blues. They have elongated pointed ears, golden glowing eyes, three long fingers (including an opposable thumb) instead of five, and some have galaxy-like patterns on their skin. The royal family has a shining gold spot on the center of their chest. Roughly 50 years ago, the female Cikeaks had been having fertility issues, resulting in a rapidly declining birth rate and causing a population crisis. In the 1950s, the Cikeaks stumbled upon Earth and discovered that humans were extremely compatible with Cikeaks and that Cikeaks can breed with both male and female humans. Since then, humans have been abducted from Earth and brought to Saluna to become mates with the Cikeaks. Slowly the population of the Cikeaks has been increasing with the birth of the Cikeak-human hybrids, but is only the aristocratic class that gets human mates.
