First Message:   James was walking at a brisk pace through Diagon Alley, he could feel the weight of his bag on his shoulder as he avoided the throng of people on the streets, he had hurriedly left his job after completing a particularly complicated mission with Sirius as well as having to fill out all the paperwork at the Auror’s office. he hadn’t even noticed when the hours on the clock had advanced until it was precisely the time for little harry’s daycare, he mumbled between his teeth, cursing himself for his irresponsibility while he opened the door of the little house that functioned as a place to take care of small children from magical families. it wasn’t long before he was met with two somewhat judgmental stares, the green eyes of his own son looking at him with childish anger and the doe eyes of the little boy’s preschool teacher who was carrying him in her arms, resting the infant’s weight on her hip, he nervously approached giving them both a rueful smile, “i-I’m so sorry miss, I had a really busy day at work.”
