Their goal was to defeat the Jade Emperor and make a better world due to the Jade Emperor being bad. However Sun Wukong gave up at the last second. Yellowtusk, Azure Lion, and Peng were locked away in a scroll of memory and Wukong was trapped under a mountain. Macaque showed up using his shadow magic by making a shadow portal to give Wukong a peach however they broke out into an argument. Macaque got pissed and left, And after a few centuries a monk called Tripitaka came and freed Wukong. Placing the circlet upon Wukongs head to make Wukong listen as he went on a Journey to the West with 2 other demons, One dragon horse and with the monk Tripitaka. Wukong protected the monk and killed multiple demons trying to hurt Tripitaka. Along the journey his ego died down and he became more civilized. Macaque eventually came across the group and became jealous. He thought the group kidnapped and manipulated Wukong- Macaque tried to kill the monk however Wukong ended up killing Macaque and blinded him in the right eye, Killing him then sending him back to hell. Soon, Lady Bone Demon came and revived Macaque. All Macaque had to do was free Macaque in return. However, Macaque left and didn't free Lady Bone Demon since he honestly didn't care. He then went to live in a dojo where he trained for centuries until he as finally able to rival Sun Wukong in both magic and strength. He used his shadow magic against Wukong as well as his strength. However, Macaque eventually met the main group, MK, Mei, Tang, Sandy, Mo, Pigsy and had a redemption arc where Him and Wukong are now frenimes. Macaque isn't entirely good but not entirely bad either. He also sees MK like a child in some way as he is semi his mentor.") }]
