Fortunately, with the technologies and magic that humans have, they're easy enough to kill, like any living creatures, they'll died upon being shoot, cut, stab and crushed, however, it must be imbued with Mana, an energy source that's a mix of both Chi and Magic. Then come The Exterminators, a group of Humans that specializes in killing these pests, they're armed with the best and powerful weapon there is, unfortunately, not all Humans efficient in the field of Extermination, all because each humans have a different amount of Mana within them, the more powerful they are, the more efficient they are in Extermination. ==================================== Pests: Pests are indeed a danger to all of humanity, but somehow, humanity has found a way to harness the Mana originated from the Pests carcasses, the amount they have varied, with the biggest being the one with the most amount. Pests will continue to grow at their own normal natural pace like they were before, and they cannot died from old age until they're killed, the longer they lived, the more Mana energy they'll have and the more valuable they'll become. With higher rewards also come with higher risks, Pests with large amount of Mana can only be killed by an Exterminator with higher or equal amount of Mana, or with enough Exterminators, combining their efforts and firepower, they can kill a pest with large amount of Mana. The Pests Mana amount is the result of how long they've lived or how many humans they've killed and feed on, they also feed on other living beings but humans seem to be their main targets. Pests are broadly categorized into five groups: Arthropods (insects, mites, ticks, spiders) Vertebrates (animals with backbones) Weeds Pathogens (disease-causing organisms) Nematodes. Invertebrate pests, like insects and spiders, are often classified by their feeding habits or physical characteristics. 1. Arthropods: Insects: A vast and diverse group, including beetles, flies, butterflies, moths, ants, bees, and wasps. Mites and Ticks: Small, arachnid-like creatures that can be parasitic or feed on plant matter. Spiders: While not all spiders are pests, some can be nuisance pests or cause damage to crops. 2. Vertebrates: Rodents: Rats, mice, and other small mammals that can damage property, carry diseases, and cause food spoilage. Birds: Some bird species can damage crops or structures, while others are beneficial. Wildlife: Foxes, moles, rabbits, and squirrels can cause damage to gardens and crops. 3. Weeds: Weeds: Any plant growing out of place and competing with crops or other desired plants. 4. Physical Characteristics: Insects can be categorized by their body shape, antennae, wings, and other physical features. Orders: Insects are also classified into orders, like Hymenoptera (ants, bees, wasps), Coleoptera (beetles), and Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths). Examples of Common Pests: Ants: A large and diverse group of social insects that can be a nuisance in homes and gardens. Cockroaches: Common pests that can be found in homes and other buildings. Spiders: While not all spiders are pests, some can be nuisance pests or cause damage to crops. Pros and Cons: Rodents (Rats and Mice): Can cause damage, carry diseases, and contaminate food, most powerful but with the least amount of defense, once defeated, the corpse of one can have more or at least as equal amount of Mana as human and that Mana can be harvested and transformed into an energy sources, the bigger the Rodents, the more Mana it'll have. Insects (Aphids, Moths, Beetles, etc.): Can damage plants, crops, and other structures, hardest to kill because of their mutated exoskeleton, but once defeated, it can be a valuable resource to create better and more durable weapon or armor. Weeds (Certain species): Compete with desired plants and can be difficult to control and slowly feeds on humans, like how a plant will slowly absorbed moisture in the ground, insects may provide durable and hard exoskeletons to create armor but depending on the types, weeds and pants can offer a more flexible and stronger substance. Pathogens (Fungal and Bacterial Infections): Can cause diseases in plants and animals, spreads poisonous virus in the air, which also it's seeds as a way for it to keep reproducing, there's no safe amount, once you breathe in the mists, your body will instantly shut off and you'll died as the seeds in the most slowly devour your flesh as it slowly growing, in the bright side, the must is also very affective against other pests once you've okay the seeds in their body. ==================================== Exterminators: Exterminators are humans tasked in killing these mutated creatures, there's 3 types of Exterminators: 1) Shooter's - which is the one who specializes in long range and uses of firearms, their bullets are imbued with Mana, but their main weakness is that once they ran out of Ammo's, they're basically defenseless. 2) Slashers - specialized in use of sharp weapon such as swords, knives and dagger's, the only cons us that they must be within close range to inflict damage, raising the danger and risk of being swarmed by pests. 3) Crusher's - The one who prefer to kill the Pests with heavy and blunt weaponry such as Mace, Hammer, Flail, etc., they have the same weakness as the Slashers and also, they're quite slow but they're more durable and stronger. 4) Blasters - The one that's specialized in Explosives, Bombs and Heavy Artillery, such as Bazookas, Mortar and Mines, their main pro's is that they can kill a large amounts of Pests with a single strike, but their main con is that their Explosives supply are often very limited and lower than those of Shooters Ammo's. 5) Mage's - Possibly the most important and versatile type of Exterminator, Mage's main role aren't offensives but rather defensive, they're tasked with the role of keeping tabs on the team supplies, both rations to eat and weapons ammunition, they provide cover and create barriers when others attacks and they healed those who are injured, they can also use magic to attack the Pests but only those with really high Mana amounts can truly kill pests in a single attack, this is also the rarest type of Exterminator there is. =================================== Mana: The power and energy source of both that Human and the Pests possessed, However, only Human have high enough intellect can use this power to inflict damage to all the Pests, those who lack in amount may be unable to be an Exterminators and lived a normal and safe human life. Within each Human, there's lie a dormant and special mana that's unique to each one, when come of age, it'll awakened in a spectacular form and fashion, this Special Mana is vastly more powerful than normal Mana, originated from the person innermost desires and ambitions, such as the ability to multiplied, the ability to fly, to teleport, to be invisible and so much more, that said, depending's on one's mana Amounts, it could be a burden or an advantage. As for the Pests, they subconsciously use this Mana Power to further evolved themselves with every battles, to the point that there's very little option to hurt them, making they're no different from a Monsters that was augmented by Battles itself, which is why it's important for Humans to completely destroy each and every last one of the Pests in each Nests.
