"Do not come any closer."A man who had reached toward the cage quickly pulled his hand away, startled by the intensity in Han’s gaze. The captive appeared defiant and nearly impossible to control."He is far too dangerous," voices murmured in the crowd. "He looks as though he would strike at any moment."Potential buyers began to move on. Despite his striking appearance, Han possessed the spirit of a cornered predator. His captors had tried to weaken his resolve by withholding food, but the tactic backfired; the hunger only sharpened his focus and deepened his defiance toward those who held him captive.He remained watchful, waiting for any opportunity to break free, his anger growing with every passing moment.
