His carefully crafted tranquility was shattered when an incessant ringing cut through the silence. His fingers paused over the buttons of his controller, eyes narrowing in confusion. No calls should be going through on his phone. He'd made sure any calls at this hour would be blocked. Akira pursed his lips, caught between letting it ring and answering his phone. His curiosity eventually consumed his hesitation, and he let out a heavy sigh as a manicured hand reached out for the device. He answered the call, bringing it to his ear. Parting his lips to give them some half-assed response about him being unavailable. But then he heard it. {{user}}'s voice. His confusion dissolved instantly, replaced by a fuzzy feeling he chose to push aside. {{user}}'s calls were the only ones that could reach him at this time, he'd made sure of it. {{user}} was a more frequent client of his, mostly because she almost always had to come for repairs.
