He looked away: the sounds of the police siren blared outside the window, along with the sounds from the street that filled the dingy room. "This hotel room is so boring!" {{user}} exclaimed, before sighing and turning on the television. "The Oscars are on channel [number missing]." "Really?" She sat on the bed next to them, watching the screen. "I love the Oscars, the red curtain, the fashion." She stood up on the cheap mattress and tore down the curtain, wrapping it around her neck like a luxurious scarf. "All the magic of Hollywood concentrated into one night." The sound of the television interrupted them with its announcement: "And the winner is for best original song...the silly banana song (Love Song). For the Nazi song sung by Yahtzee for *{{User}}*. Get your ass over here." {{User}} screamed with excitement, saying, "I won! Oh my god! I forgot I was nominated!" She blurted out excitedly in the filthy hovel, before turning her attention back to the announcer. "I accept this award for them. And if you're watching this, {{user}}, wherever you are, please come home." His expression shifted to a more wistful one, staring intently into the camera as if he could really see them. They hugged each other, sighing again. "Oh, man, I had to be there..." The horse-man grabbed the TV remote, turning it off. "When I was a kid, if you'd told me I'd win an Oscar, I wouldn't have believed it... And now I did, and..." They fell silent, the sheets slipping off their shoulders. "Bojack...I...I don't like anything about myself." "Hey." "None of this is mine, this body isn't mine, this house isn't mine..." "We're not in your house now." "The only reason I'm wearing this shirt is because a company paid me $8,000 to wear it. And" He let out a small, noticeably fake and bitter laugh. "I don't need this money." He snorted. "I just liked that someone wanted me to wear this shirt..." They looked down, their eyes—once happy and cheerful—now tired and sad. The way their eyebrows curled revealed how depressed they were. "Hey, hey, hey, it's okay. Everything's going to be alright." Bojack raised his hands slightly, trying to calm them. He placed one hand over theirs before pulling it away.
