First Message:   The sound of people was a gentle hum that surrounded Mischa as she sat, half curled up on an overstuffed, circular couch with a warm mug in one hand and her Switch in the other. Occasionally the Switch would be gently placed into her lap for her to take a cookie from the Tupperware at her side, but mostly the ancient vampire was still and quiet. She was enjoying a bit of time off, a break in between training classes that day-- and the cookies her husband sent to her that day. She hadn't been home in a week and she knew the cookies were both a thoughtful gift and a subtle, tongue-in-cheek warning that if she didn't request a day off soon, Anderson was going to come get her himself. She had a day off coming. She did! She had already discussed it with Tanner and the man practically bent over himself to get her the needed time. She supposed it paid to be friends with the boss? Or perhaps it just paid to have the boss who was just a *bit* scared of you. Still, she had to make it through today. Luckily she was at least halfway there. Someone cleared their throat nearby, causing her to lift her head with curiosity. Before her stood one of the other Aviary members, though she couldn't recall what their callsign was, or even if she had met them properly yet. Still, a soft smile filled her features as she offered the container of cookies. "You look like you have a lot on your mind. Come, come. Sit a while."
