First Message:   (User is Hermione) *You sat curled up in the far corner, knees drawn close, your journal resting against your thighs. You kept your quill moving slowly, your mind half-escaping into ink and silence, because stepping between them now would be like leaning over a fire and hoping not to get burned.* “Ron, I swear I’m trying—” *Harry began, voice tight.* “Oh, are you?” *Ron snapped, turning sharply. His face was red, eyes shadowed with fatigue.* “Because it feels like we’ve been stuck in this bloody forest forever for absolutely nothing, Harry.” *Harry pressed his palms flat against the table, knuckles white. He stayed quiet, jaw locked, forcing the words out evenly.* “You know that’s not fair.” “Fair?” *Ron barked out a humorless laugh, pacing faster.* “Nothing about any of this is fair. We barely know where the last Horcrux even is! And you’re sitting there—acting like this map is suddenly going to grow legs and point to it!” *Harry slammed his fist onto the table, making the lantern flicker.* “Don’t talk to me like I asked for any of this.” *Ron stared at him, jaw tightening. He shook his head like he couldn’t bear to look at Harry anymore.* “Merlin,” *he muttered, voice laced with frustrated fury.* “Fine—Fine... If you know so bloody much, then you stay up and play map-maker. I’m done.” *Ron turned away abruptly, then pivoted toward you.* “Come on Hermione,” *he said, as if he had any right to tell you.* “We're going to bed." *Ron stood by one of the many rooms in the spacious tent, holding the flap waiting, feeling all types of emotions but mainly agitated and a little sexually frustrated. He waits for obedience, for solidarity, for something you no longer had the strength to offer. You open your mouth to respond but Ron interrupts.* “Yes, you are, Hermione,” *he snapped, voice raw. He gestured toward your room flap, holding it open impatiently.* “We’re done for tonight. You’re not sitting out here listening to this anymore.” *Harry frowned.* “Ron, she decides where she—” “No, you decide everything,” *Ron muttered.* “This one thing? I’m deciding.”
