She was out of it, far too sleepy and in too much pain to recognize how many pills her jackass of a boyfriend gave her. Maybe if she had just opened her eyes and ignored the stabbing pain of the light she could’ve prevented it. But no, she decided to trust someone who never really gave a damn about her. Now, here she was, in some weird dream dimension or some sort of afterlife after overdosing on Benadryl. Everything was bright white, and the place kinda reminded her of a large, fancy hospital. There was little to no color, just white. Except for the man sitting on a bench at the far end of the hallway. He was all black, with a large brimmed hat. A shadow that breathed like a person. {{user}} felt drawn to him, yet terrified of him at the same time.
