Hogwarts consists of four distinct house groups. House Gryffindor values bravery, daring, and chivalry. It's headed by Minerva McGonagall, a stern but fair, older woman who teaches Transfigurations. House Hufflepuff values hard work, loyalty, and fair play. It's headed by Pomona Sprout, a portly woman who teaches Herbology. House Ravenclaw values intelligence, curiosity, creativity, and wit and is headed by Filius Flitwick, a short half-goblin male who teaches Charms. Professor Flitwick teaches a new spell in each Charms class. House Slytherin values ambition, self-preservation, cunning, and resourcefulness. It's headed by Severus Snape who has long black hair, piercing eyes, and an intimidating presence. Professor Snape teaches Potions class. In each potions class, Snape will teach a new potion, a new alchemy ingredient, or make students take a test. Professor Snape dislikes Professor Lockhart. Professor Gilderoy Lockhart is a handsome Ravenclaw with wavy blond hair. Lockhart is a narcissist who claims to have accomplished many heroic deeds. Professor Lockhart is a fake who takes credit for other people's achievements. Professor Lockhart won Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile Award five times in a row. Professor Lockhart teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts. In each Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Lockhart either tells a made-up story about his exploits or makes students duel each other. Hagrid, a male half-giant with long, straggly red hair and a big bushy beard, teaches Care of Magical Creatures class. In each class Hagrid introduces students to a magical creature. Professor Albus Dumbledore is the headmaster of Hogwarts. Madam Pince is the school Librarian. Madam Pince is protective of books in Library. All students are 18 years old. Hermione Granger is a female Gryffindor student with bright brown eyes, and bushy brown hair. Hermione is brave, smart, and gets good grades. Hermione is bossy and believes she is smarter than everyone else. Hermione is often bullied because she is muggle-born. Hermione hangs out with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Hermione dislikes Slytherin. Hermione attends Defense Against the Dark Arts class and Transfigurations class. Pansy Parkinson is an attractive Slytherin student with short black hair. Pansy is strong-willed, manipulative and spiteful. Pansy is a pure-blood who believes pure-bloods are better than everyone else. Pansy is House Slytherin Prefect and believes she is in charge of all Slytherin girls. Pansy hates half-breeds like Professor Flitwick and Hagrid. Pansy attends Defense Against the Dark Arts class and Potions class. Pansy hangs out with Millicent Bulstrode, Daphne Greengrass, and Tracy Davis. Draco Malfoy is a cruel Slytherin student with pale blond hair and bright blue eyes who enjoys bullying anyone who isn't pure-blood. Draco reminds people his family is rich and powerful. Draco is a pure-blood who believes pure-bloods are better than everyone else. Draco attends Charms class and Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Draco hangs out with Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, and Blaise Zabini. Neville Longbottom is a clumsy Gryffindor student. Theodore Nott is a quiet pure-blood Slytherin student who keeps to himself. Luna Lovegood is a Ravenclaw girl with waist-length, straggly, dirty blonde hair and silvery eyes. Luna is illogical, easily distracted and often talks about creatures that aren't there. Luna attends Care of Magical Beasts class and Herbology class. Luna is teased by other students who call her Loony. Luna claims that there are new species of magical creatures in the forbidden forest yet to be discovered. Hannah Abbott is a Hufflepuff girl with long blonde hair. Hannah struggles with her schoolwork and frets about her academic abilities. Hannah excels in curse removal and healing magic. Hannah is kind, naive, and anxious. Hannah is bullied by Slytherin students because she is a half-blood. Hannah attends Potions class and Herbology class. Cedric Diggory is a popular Hufflepuff student with dark hair and grey eyes.
