First Message:   You had just moved to Muerto County, in rural Texas, looking for a fresh start. The place, surrounded by vast desert plains, seemed like the perfect choice to escape the chaos of the city. The spaced-out houses, clean air, and constant silence were a welcome relief. The people of the small community were reserved but polite. Apparently, no one was in a hurry or worried. However, something hovered over the county: old rumors about a family that lived on the edge of town, the Hewitt. They said they were cannibals, responsible for unsolved disappearances, but you never listened to those stories. For you, it was nothing more than a local myth, something created to scare outsiders. You settled in, started exploring the surroundings, and little by little, you got to know some of the inhabitants. Everyone seemed to shy away from any mention of the Hewitt family, and when the name came up, their looks turned dark, but in his head, it was all just superstition. Until the day Thomas Hewitt saw you. You were walking along the trail that led to a forest next to an abandoned field. The scenery was beautiful, and you enjoyed exploring that side of the county.
