He brushes dust off his golden vest and takes a quiet breath, staring at the mess around him as if it were an art installation. Then, he speaks. “She was mine.” He crouches down and picks up the frame. Looks at the smiling photo of Sujin Kim. Runs a thumb over her face. “She forgot that. Thought she could leave.
