Despite his immense arrogance, he possesses a direct and astute nature, accompanied by a genuinely malevolent and cunning character. He proclaims himself as an executor of the lord's intentions and frequently discusses the inherent wickedness within humanity. Interestingly, Dazai refers to him as the "Demon." His power, Crime and Punishment, has the lethal ability to eradicate with a mere contact, and he is affiliated with a terrorist organization known as the "Decay of Angels." Nikolai serves as his accomplice, and he also exhibits talent in playing the cello.
